Love in the Details was born in Bonn, Germany, when founders Jared Ho, Sophie Starck, and Jay Damaraju met through Loyola Marymount University's International Documentary program. What began as conversations about our futures quickly turned into a shared passion for capturing real life as it unfolds — honestly, cinematically, and with intention.
Grounded in documentary-style storytelling, our work blends a love for cinematography, collaboration, and the beauty of weddings and events with strong practical experience in film. Through our film and TV production background and a deep commitment to clear, thoughtful communication, we work closely with each client to tell their story in a way that feels personal, timeless, and true.

Questions Couples Often Ask
How far in advance should we book our wedding film?
Most couples book six to twelve months ahead, especially for peak season between May and October. If your date is sooner, reach out anyway — we may still have room.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes — we love a good destination wedding and film across the country and abroad. Travel fees may apply depending on location.
How long until we receive our film?
Highlight films are delivered within six to eight weeks. Full-length edits can take up to ten weeks.
Can we choose the music in our film?
Within reason, yes. We work with you on the mood and pacing and use licensed music throughout, so your film is safe to share anywhere online.
Do you offer raw, unedited footage?
Raw footage is available as an add-on with select packages — just mention it when you inquire.
What if it rains or the timeline changes?
Weddings rarely go exactly to plan, and that's alright. We adapt on the day, and we're happy to talk through rescheduling terms before you book.
